In Boccaccio’s 14th-century masterpiece The Decameron, 10 people flee Florence from the Black Death to build a fortress of songs and stories in the countryside.
The design uses 10 colours to represent the storytellers. A composition to connect and protect. The individual letters of ANAKRONOS appear in each colour block, but only in detail. Like the songs we focus on small glimpses—elements woven together, wrapping and supporting. This is the minutiae of life; humanity in reconstructed fragments of time.
